Just a quick question am new to all this so bare with me the size of the boards and kits are they like the bigger u are the bigger the kite/board u will need or is it for another reason so if i was like 6 foot and a 100kg would i get a 140cm board and a 15m kite
Its pretty similar to surfing in respect to board and kite size. For your board you want it to be about an inch or 2 taller than you. And for the kite you will have to blow it up and measure the span (from wingtip to wingtip) usually how you do this is lie the kite on the ground then try and flatten it out by laying directly ontop of it (must be inflated) and you want it to be 1,1/2 times your height. hope that helps.
Im sure whoever you get your kiteboarding lessons from, will suggest the most appropriate board, kite and harness for your size, weight and riding location...
buy as much gear as you can 5 kites 4 boards 2 wetties a harness a jetski or wake boat lots if sunblock 20 pairs of boardies and 50 rashies should get you thrugh and you will be on the water every day.
One last thing good to have is a good KB makes kitting all the more enjoyable.
At 100kgs Probably stick with around a 12m kite and a board 136-140cm should be ok between 14-25kts depending on brand and your skill level.
