Is this some kind of West Coast joke? #of times you will need a smaller kite then that is 0. Even in last years winter gusty winds we barely ever had a sustained wind over 35Kn. A couple of big storms came through but most the time strong winds came from the SW in the 20 to 25 range with gusts at 10 knots stronger.

9M Should get you through winter. Watch the BOM forecasts though. When they call it gusting over 30knts give it a total miss. Those days are crap and dangerous! And there are a few of them.
