Type in "sore elbows" in the search box. This has been covered reasonably well in the past on this forum.

For a near instant result Nurofen gel is good.

I think Glucosamine is more a long term fix.

HUGE fan of glucosamine but agree with Ian I think it is only effective on damaged 'connective tissue' & joints.
Strained muscles is a whole nother story. Voltaren (anti-inflamatory as is Nurofen gel I think ?), heat rubs etc. probably far better.
For bruising try "Lasonil" - draws out the bruising, reduces swelling & pain - another product that works.

Chop Chop - forget or the gells and drugs IMO they are not a cure just a comfort thing, you need to get to the root of the problem

big stretching session after a kite (concentrating on neck shoulders spine and hips) really helped me - go see a physio to get a stretching routine that is specific to your problem (deep tissue therapy IMO - hurts so good!) , elbow pain can also come from a number of probs associated with the neck, back and shoulders. if your pain is below the elbow you likeley have tennis or golfers elbow (in this case kiters elbow), if it is above the elbow it could well be reffered pain from another complication. Once you know what it is you can take steps to repair.

you have to experience this to understand how painful it can get

is it waking you up in the morn? that was my worst time and during an underpowered sess
