Hey peeps

has anyone come up with a solution to get the safety leash wrap around the chicken loop sorted on waroos?

im not after "spin the other way solutions" just yet.

i dont want to use that monstrous SS spreader bar - it just looks too big. I remember some small thing that came out - but cant remember who made it.

i came up with 5th line through the bar, and attach the leash to that. Sorta like the idea of 5th for safety reasons alone, might seem a bit kooky on a waroo, but what the hey.

anyone got this sorted?

robbo.

Hi Robbo,

Last year Airush made a spinning attachment that went onto your spreader bar which enabled the leash to be spun around after looping etc.

Best bet is to contact Airborne or Windforce to see if they have any left, not sure if they continued them in 07. Peter Lynn also makes a swiveling spreader bar hook. this also works OK but is a far more expensive option.

Just think of the positives, an Airush component on your Waroo would significantly lift your resale value

Hey Robbo
I don,t fly Waroo's I have fuels.
I use a Peter Lyn spinning hook spreader bar arangement. It is tough and my 5th line QR connects to the spinning hook as well, so everything spins at the same time. No more having to loop the kite to get the twist out. I can take some pics if you like.

Regards'
Nigel.

hey bullwinkle,
what would happen if the spreader bar snapped at the spinning bit - which is where it would if it were going to as thats a high stress point i'd say.

just dont want something snapping again and watching the kite fly off.
such a bad feeling.
