hey people just letting you know that if you plan on kiting the westerly winds at scarborough beach redcliffe be careful when walking through the 'crap' we found a stone fish 2 metres from the shoreline half submerged in a sandy area last Saturday. I'll try and get a pic of the ugly mofo. Yesterday kiters found another 2 stonefish again not far offshore in the same area where there are actually no rocks. What I suggest for anyone kiting there is get on that board straight away and kite into deeper water and be careful walking. We slide our feet forward across the seabed rather then trodding through it.
