hey people, usually kite on the ocean.
Is there some place around perth i can kite in the cazy easterly winds were gettin atm? On the river perhaps, never been on the river. Thanks.

Cool, thanks guys. "Point walter" hey, gonna have to check that one out =) 3 days off work n its bleedin easterly =) And howling at that, just to rub it in =)...

Is there anything to know about "point walter" ?

6 years ago there would be about 5 people at the most.
These days you'd b lucky to find an empty part of the spit to rig up.
So it gets busy very very very busy

Plus there are lots of killer rocks lurking just inches below.
Its also fun to see who will get blown over the river to Mosman Park - long walk back from there.

there are plenty of places on the river you can kite on an easterly . Just don't bother with point walter as that is the metro equivalent of the pond at safety bay . Overcrowded with both kites and ego's

The kind of place i like to avoid!
Were else then? If i had a car i'd just go drive up n down the river n find some place.

What crowds - only 3 kites out last time I looked.
It was 11:30 Fri night !!

Just had two killer sessions in two days on the easterly. Cant be that stupid nearly 3hrs each time and wind was up for longer. Just sharing the buzz.
