Seaspecs work well - got mine thru Kitepower, but most kiteshops sell them. They save your eyes from the glare and most of the spray. They crust up towards the end of the session with the dried salt, but as this is a gradual build-up your eyes adjust. Easy to clean off with a "wet-ones" style wipe.

Yeah sea specs are great as they dont come off your head after crashing. check them out at www.seaspecs.com.

As im working with KiteSurfDirect i know i can offer them to my fellow seabreeze chums for around $100 delivered to your door next day.

Hope that helps - if you do want a pair just email me and ill organise it with you.

I got a pair of sundogs for xmas.

Used them thrice as i was scared of loosing them.
Now have tied another cord round them for security theres no way these things are getting away. The strap at the back tightens real tight and stays real tight too, but as these are a prezzie gotta be sure.

1st time i used them i thought they were crap as after a while it felt like they were misting up, but no just put too much zinc on my cheeks which rubbed off onto the inside of the lens.
2nd time much better really liked it comfy to wear, no salt crusties, and total sun protection for eyes.
Now wont kite without them, they reduce the glare totally plus i look cooler than i already am....

Overall can wholeheartedly recommend Sundogs they are perfect.

when you buy them, take your helmet into the store so you can try the sunnies on with your helmet. This way you can buy a $15 pair that are super comfy.

Seaspecs come in 2 flavours, polarised and non-polarised. I am onto my second pair now - first pair cost $50 cash, second pair abour $65 - polarised.

IMO they are worth it...

become the home handyman and make a pair...$10 sunnies from a servo, bottle of rainex and a strip of wetsuit material for a strap...too easy. haven't lost a pair in two seasons, and when the lenses become scratched beyond repair (and lets face it, they will-
sand + sunscreen = scratches) its only a $10 dollar fix. It's cheap, and because they aren't fixed firmly to your eye sockets they will never fog up, and when you take them off you won't have goggle marks for the next half hour...
