Snoidberg, I think you'll be lucky if you see 15 knots of that! but hey... you never know, it might just crank 25 knots one of those days.

DAMN uni and work. Only time I'm free to kite atm is the weekends!
So it better not blow. Cable here I come

Well considering the same SE forecast for last week was red and we got 20knots winds all week I can pretty much gaurantee it will deliver the same again.

I guess the wind you guys get there is more consistent with the forecast, than Wello and Redcliffe is then.
Pretty sure we only had one windy day and it was only marginal.

stuff work and uni this could be our last week of perfect wind. Make a fake dr certificate if u have to, or pretend a loved one has passed away and you need some time off, that 1 allways works[}:)]. lol my work probably thinks i have no family left.

haha funny thing is I have a medical cert for the next 2 weeks anyway. Gland. Fever killing me again with bronchitis as well. Gotta work 2 get money, gotta go to uni 2 get a job at the end of the year.

LOL

Only day I can skip is Friday, and I have 2 assessment pieces due then. = So would rather go wakeboarding during the week sometime.

Go surfing Nick, was pretty fun at Dutchies on Friday Personally I welcome end of the season, gives a break to try other things. Get better stoke just surfing even though I'm crap at it after a summer of kiting.

My doctor is also my kiting buddy

Elizabethb we had epic wind everyday last week from Saturday through to Thursday. Its amazing how the wind patterns vary from such a small distance.

Last time i blew over 20 knots there were few to be seen -
This could be our last good SE before winter takes hold

it looks southerly which makes riding down the line so sweet!!

Hey brucex

You should still be up here in Paradise now - Cairns weather is the best its been in ages. We've welcomed the cool change. Good winds on Sunday with heaps of Kitesurfing coming out of Yorkeys and Holloways. The fellas were hooting along like crazy.

Also the water skiers up at Tinaroo having a great time. The dam is still over. Looks like the next few long weekends will be conjested on the Dam as well.

Joy.... Stuck at uni 9-6 today! eeeiiik and its cranking already - a bit inconsistent but better than nothing.

Just out of interest Dustin, do the whole of KBM go out kiting when the wind blows? That would be classic - have to leave a non kiter back in the office to answer the phones....haha

I'm stuck working till Thursday Maybe Friday arvo for me and the weekend of course. Must catch up for a kite sometime.

Sunny Coast Kiters,

I am heading up to Bribie Island this weekend for 4 days just checked the graph and it is looking all time.

Was wondering :

What are the best wind directions for :

Maroochy rivermouth

Caloundra rivermouth

Any other suggestions as to places to head I am keen for flat water and or waves also any tips on where to, or where not to, setup.

Haha well theres three sports we all like doing at KBM: kiting, surfing and wakeboarding. We usually get a pick of which we want to do that day. But some days we sneak in all three haha.
