So where did any one else kite today

5 of us had a smokin time downwinder stumers to sunshine yesterday an today 20 /33knots southeast and some big sucker waves breaking out at the sharknets a good time was had by all.

Did a downwinder at Kawana with a mate - only 2 of us the whole stretch!
Was up there with the top ten kites of my life - good wind and swell!

Then got back to Anne street and some kook on a red cab thought he would line me up when I was on a wave and flew his kite into mine!
Reminds of the passage a fair while back when another kook turned blindly into me on a blue cab and wiped me out! I see a pattern forming here!

But - yesterday was amazing

If you knew me, and the also the area and situations there would be one side I guess....It was more a play on words on kooks and cabs..and a bit of fun...

Just had an email from my mate confirming what a great day it was yesterday!!

Also my brother and good mate went to Golden Beach and got their first session in staying upwind and little jumps since starting a couple of weeks ago so they had a ball as well. Said there were about 15 kites there.

Wondered why no-one else was doing the Anne street to S bends run as it was such an epic day?

Little waves on the inside of the sandbanks. Ride them in, use them as ramps on the way out.

Saturday was definitely in the top 5 kiting days for me in 5 seasons.

Locals are welcoming, poleys are friendly and you can walk back to your tent for a nap.
