any tips on what size surfboard to buy for kiting on in lite winds?
before u all jump in with plugs on the new models of snazzery epoxy models coming out this season i want to buy a cheapy to see if i like using a directional and if i have fun then i mite pull out the cash for a flash one
so anyway, i am thinkin between 5'11 and low 6's
seem cool?
do u reccomend throwing and extra layer of glass on the top or just bash it?

for light winds 6 foot and up. for an allrounder about 5'9-6foot depeding on your size. just my opinion. i know u can get a custom board off stuie for around $600. if u get a say 6'2 u can surf it and he can drop some plugs in it for straps so u can kite it too. thats a good option. alot of the east coast crew use em and he does a stronger glass job on them specifically for kiting. well worth a look.
