I reckon the first Punter that can do all the trick they do in the "Flat Water" Vids and look as slick as them has the right to say it isn't Kocher. Untill then suck it up.

Having said that there's nothing like seeing a kiter riping down the face of a wave. I'll admit I'm getting the Kiteboarder mag subscription to get The Unknown Road vid.

We need to take heed of our poley mates who have fine tuned their equipment and their terminology.
Kite companies are on this and are making dedicated wave kites and freestyle kites. The refinement in kite technology means, for an intermediate/expert kiter, kite design means you sacrifice one feature for the gain of another, you cant have everything.

Na you miss the point he is trying to make I think, kiteboarding and kitesurfing.

Boarding as in on flat water and surfing as defined by riding on a wave.

A lot of times the two are used as interchangeable descriptions - sounds like being anal but when looking for videos on one type of discipline with kites it probably doesn’t help..
