today at brighton WA i thought id have a crack at some handle passes off he small swell that was coming in, the first two i tried went well with the bar just slipping out of my hand behind my back, less to say i was super stoked as ive been playing them though my mind since last season and was sure i was gonna stick it on my third try..Went for the third attempt and totally missed, not even close to catching it, now flying mid air backwards waiting for the violent pull.. but nothing!! as i came to the surface i noticed my kite flying off towards the shore, the quick release on my leash had came undone(riding suicide)!! was worried about the public as there were no visible kiters on the beach and only 4 of us on the water, then out of the corner off my eye i see this guy sprinting down the beach like he was racing for a gold medal(he was sitting on the beach waiting for the wind to pick up) got to my kite before it landed..big thanks to you mate!! anything could have happend as there were quite a few people laying around on the beach..champion

It was me. No problem buddy, things happen and we should all be looking out for each other. Didn`t know I could still run that fast. Yes the wind did pick up nicely and had a pretty good session with my old 2002`ish Bronco. Didn`t know what I was all worried about.
Wow, a big difference to todays bow kites!
On that note I`d like to thank the kiter that retrieved my board for me and took it to the beach when my safety went, lines got all tangled and had to swim back to shore. Oh and thanks to the life guard for giving me a lift on the back of the 4#4 back to the kite spot (you could have come and rescued me out at sea and saved me the swim )
All good fun.
