The NSWKBA has known about problems with the tourists that come to maroubra for a long time. They have said that they will take the location information off the site months ago, but it is still there and the euros keep coming and now we are banned pending a recommendation at the next council meeting for a total ban. The beach inspectors who asked for the site to be taken down even showed me the site a few days ago because tourists had shown them. NSWKBA was given the phone numbers for the maroubra beach inspectors but never contacted them according to the inspectors. So thankyou NSWKBA for your support in maintaining our local spots and offering our home breaks to those who don't give a sh-t about what happens after they go.

That sucks. Wanda will be next. It has become a circus with no respect being given to surfers, other kiters, beach users or the flagged areas.... and all right in front of the clubby tower. To many people with no respect, common sense or ability to even ride at a crowded surf beach. Councils act like sheep, they will follow each other in case they are seem to have done nothing if an incident were to occur. Unfortunately it is not just blow-ins to blame, it is regular hacks as well.
