Just strolled down to my local beach

[}:)] only to find that the recent storms have pushed low water mark at beach 2 way out to about the point where our 'chic-on-a-stick' wind vein sits on the fishing groin.

That makes the rigging beach area off the end carpark over 50M wide.
Be great if it stays that way for summer.

But - on the downside if the changes do turn out to be permanent.

Some of all that sand build up has come from beach 3 at the offshore launch area. Here about 1/2M of sand has disappeared from between those once scattered rocks. No wonder we stubbed our toes & shredded our feet. Now there is almost wall-to-wall rocks; most of which must have been just below the old surface level.
