went to an 18th sat night steve and i were in heaven... he got to perve on all the hot young chicks i got to dance with all the sexy young lads.... hmmmmmmm
ANYWAY...
got home early hours sunday morning... pulling up into the driveway, i noticed some of my bags sprawled all over the ground near the letterbox...
i bolted up the driveway looked in my car... they had searched my whole car... i slammed the door and was balling my eyes out .... then i screamed out 'my boooooot!!'
opened my boot and ALL my kiting gear was gone! (board, kite, bars, lines, wetsuit, harness, pump)
i was hysterical by this stage
(we are going to fiji in 2 weeks... we had just bought our travel bags and i had all my gear in one of the bags as we were checking if it all fit and how much it would weigh)
i could not stop crying, i got steve to drive around the neigbourhood just in case they dumped it somewhere... i thought that there is no way someone on foot could carry it around for long ...
called the police and reported it...
steve was trying to console me telling me on monday we would go out and get a new kite and board but i only wanted all my stuff back... i knew i couldnt buy and identical board to what just got stolen!
Anyway...
the next morning i jumped out of bed to go and check my car out properly as it was too dark the night before... realised that the dh's had actually tried to steal my car, then i went for a walk down the driveway picking up all my stuff and noticed in the far corner of my neigbours flower bed was my sexy board bag....
i screamed out to steve who came running out practically naked (worried that something else had happened)
we couldnt believe what we were seeing...
all the weak scumbag thieves had done was fumble through my bag in the dark and found nothing that they could pinch easily... so ditched it
i was jumping around with joy and soon forgot my hangover...
what a day!

maybe they just couldn't find that electric pump
