does anyone know if the thorn 06 can take bindings? the bindings fits on perfect but i heard the pressure from the bindings will wreck the board-as in the thorn 06 is not meant for a binding setup.

You can use bindings. The new thorn with the grav-d1 footstraps/pads are easier to take on and off if you want to switch between bindings and footstraps.

Hey Kenta, I rode with you a couple of times at Melville, went out and crashed your 10m a couple of times for you , have you tried bindings yet? For the cost and bother setting it up its not really worth doing unless you feel that straps are holding you back.

hey spacemonkey, yea i remember you-especially after you crashed my kite long time no see!!you riding much? i got like 2 sessions this winter.sucks. was so busy.
nah i havent tried my unions although i got them ages ago...but ive tried the unions on daves(or was it tobes board) before.i like the locked in feel.just not 100% sure if the 06 thorn can take bindings..im pretty sure the 07 thorns can tho. i reckon the 06 sol is suitable for a binding setup but not the 06 thorn..

P.S: dave i got my licence lets go towing!!!

Yeah I didnt get out much in winter I been hibernating surving off surfing. You gonna start riding woodies this summer its gonna be insane. If their arent holes in your board already to accomadate bindings you prob have to use tbolts. This will **** your board up a bit but mostly just how it looks on the bottom. Not sure how much drilling holes affects the boards strength.
