The cost of a 10m kite, board, harness and accessories $1500 +

The petrol to get there (dont want to think +++ $$$)

The friends and family sitting, watching eating food $20 +

The past visits to the hospital from kiting injuries ... too many +

The feeling of riding for four hours on both Saturday and Today in the 17-25 knot winds (which have been missing for months) on a 10m kite with your guy... Priceless

Winds seem to be kicking in... Gusty, but their slowly coming back [}:)]

Lizzy, you must move to where there is wind.

Hope you are well.

Just had another nuking day. Can only stay out for an hour at the mom as I've knee injury, not from kiting though, but from absorbing the shocks of riding a little boat in chop for 1.5 hours...icing and brace on left knee, not fun, but dam there is WIND...so you go out.

Also, cut up my 12m when I got to Shark Bay on the first day. Good thing is, that there is so much wind up there, that the 7m did just fine. Kited out, back to work

Gruzie, Sounds like everything is going really well Really good on this end - Great to hear you are going so well and the winds over there have certainly kickd in I hope your knee has a speedy recovery and you can be out kiting for hours on end as soon as possible.

Wow - Talk about wind! You guys on a 7m kite, I'd be looking for the 5m on depower lol - Glad you had a great time and the winds everywhere are settling in [}:)]

Actually Lizzy I heard tell of a WA chicky about ur size doing some serious kiting recently on a 3m trainer
And yer both gruezi & poor rellie are carrying injuries at the mo. Both under strict 'bed rest' orders - which in addicted kite speak obviously means just slightly shorter sessions & try to keep the landings soft as possible
