I'm thinking of going to WA for a two-week kite and surf holiday early next year, possibly to Geraldon or Lancelin. Has anyone taken a similar trip or knows about good places to stay over that way?

lancelin lodge, gero has some good backpackers if thats your budget, try foreshore backpackers

Don't bother going to gero... Lancelin is so much better for both
very small though id go there for 3 or 4 days max.

Dont listen to DAchopp chop, yes they are both really good for surf and wind, but if you go to Gero you can sail at coronations which is only north of Gero by about an forty minutes, its sweet as for sailing and surfing. Plus there is bugger all people up there.
Lano can get crowded with windies and they tend to get angry sometimes.
Depends on how far you want to drive, lano is an hour and a bit from perth, geraldton is about 4 and a bit(depending on how fast you drive)
