I have a Dundee, love the board, but find with the footpads on the widest setting a little too wide, on inner settings a little too narrow, but one on wide & one inner just right. how do ya reckon it would affect flex, upwind etc or too little affect to worry about.
cheers

I accidentally did this on my nobile NHP after traveling. I kept tripping over the nose of the board on landings, especially when landing fast and I couldn't figure out what the hell was wrong, I felt like I was riding like a gumby idiot. Then I noticed one strap in the wrong place. I moved it back too the widest setting and got my balance back. I was surprised at how much it affected the board. Having said that, give it a go and see what happens it might work for your style of riding

yeah I did yesterday, with westerly, swell & current all heading to shore I usually find on the incoming tack can struggle a little for power, in brome light wind, warm air, riding zephyr, so brought left strap, back leg forward so I guess slightly standing forward on the board & seemed to keep board speed a bit easier, maybe dreaming

My old hammer, the foot pads were too close togetehr.

I put in a new set of inserts for my R foor further back (I am a natural footer).

Worked a beauty for wave riding. Gave a much nicer more balanced stance most of the time, and didn't end up as tired at the end of a wave session. Never tried riding it goofy on the waves, so wasn't that fussed.

When riding back upwind I didn't really notice a problem.

Haven't ridden that boad for a few years now. Good memories. Must get it out of the shed again one day
