Anyone got any suggestions to my problem. My kite tends to drift skywards on one direction and the other direction goes to the water.Just enough to be very annoying ,bar and lines are perfect in line length on all 4 lines as i use it on four other kites.Measured all bridle lines and are all the same length.Has anyone out there had this problem and is there an easy fix .

I had this problem really bad with one kite - twisted leading edge bladder after getting cleaned up in the surf. Lightly inflate the kite and shake the leading edge to get the bladder to settle back into place.

You should also make sure your lines are all the same length and no bridle or pulley problems.

it's got to be in order of likely hood 1 uneven lines,2 uneven bridle or 3 out of shape canopy/leading edge. Once you have eliminated the first 2 talk to your supplier.

Thanks guys, will try the bladder thing as this kite has had a few tumblings in the surf, and had always flown true until now.

Maybe your right hand weighs more than your left?

... worn lines where a bridal pulley runs over, or some times the pulley gets stuck right on the worn bridal line and distorts the kite.

cheers,

Have had the same problem with my 7m convert and 16m switch/b I have found the problem to be around the pulleys so I replaced the worn lines and replaced pulleys fixed the problem.
