Got my first kite in South Africa on the weekend

Brilliant fun, in the Sterkfontein Dam, 2.5 hours south of Joburg

Frech water lake at 2000m above sealevel, so very different to kiting at sealevel in WA, but heaps of fun

Everyone is really friendly, and a surprisingly large number of kiters from Joburg considering there is no kiting for 2 hours in any direction from the city, and no kiting in for 7 hours in summer time !!!

anyway, ill post some pictures in the appropriate place on this site for anyone to view
