hey,
I use a vennom pl and have changed nothing on my kite for months.
Today when i went out, when i sheet in ,my back lines are too tight and my kite stalls and reversers out of the sky.
I know i need to lenghten my rear lines or change the lenghts of my leader lines, but WHY has this happened over night when i have made no changes.
any ideas, was sooo happy with the way it was set up,took ages to get it just the way i wanted.
Cheers

Front lines have more than likely stretched over time until it gets to a critical point.Easy fix ,tie a knot on the front leaders 5 cm in from where you currently attch them

Probably what Lach says. Was the kite wet and sandy when you flew it the second time? This definitely affects the flight characteristics and can make the kite stall more.

I hate to be the prick that ask's but you didn't hook up the front the rear and visa versa did you. If the previous statement is wrong (which it most likely is) then pay more attention to the kite when you sheet on and don't over sheet. This is more a problem in lighter airs then heavy. If you do want to sheet all the way done pull on the trim strap which will effectively shorten the front lines.

Watched a guy with a Waroo sheet it on as hard as possible and didn't listen to any advice but still couldn't figure out why his kite kept falling out of the sky.

This could answer the problem. Would know though, never flown a mattress and not planning too. Good luck.

crazy canuk,my lines were definetly round the right way .
Mr float,i tied new knots in leaders 5cm in from old knots and it actually made it worse.
now it stalls when only sheeted half in.
really wiered, dosent make sence ,wind dropped off before i could play around anymore.

ellery, kite was dry and sand free.

There's nothing wrong with with Peter Lynns. I'd go a Peter Lynn over a havoc anyday, as i know that i can use it for longer than 2 weeks before it breaks.
