bunch of us, just back from mui ne, off season right now, but still kited most days. 4 hrs from ho chi, about $us 90 each way. food/drink/accom cheap as... good luck!

$90US....or $6 on tourist bus, or private cab for around $50-60, or book into the Sailing Club and they come and pick you up.

Accom can be from $10-$250+ per night. Even the $30-60 p/n range gets you some amazing places. Cheap seafood and beer, If its off shore, ask around for the secret place....about 10minutes by taxi/moto

Awesome can't wait, it looks great but I read on one site that there's 2 sewer lines discharging straight into the water on the beach . . Is that true? anyone see that?

Was there in 06, asked about pipes on beach and was told by aussie running kite school that just stormwater / spring run off and no smell at all - definitely not sewerage. Enjoy vietnam.

Thanks njamo. I thought it was a bit suss, most likely some spoiled yank going on about the 'disgusting beaches' etc, but it was on some wiki site so I thought it was worth checking.

BouQune i think it's spelled like that. Great spot at $47US a night. I 'll be there from the first of Feb.

went there in Dec 06. Pretty polluted water should of stayed in Oz, best beaches and cleanest water in the world. Better wind and waves to b had in WA
