Hi guys,
I'm in the market for a new waist harness... I found my previous one to big and would move up and crush my ribs.
Apart from the comfort factor how tight should the harness ideally be around my waist?.... Should it be snug or fill a little loose? I have a 31" waist..and the mediums I try feel a little loose..where as the smalls are snug.

Any advice would be apprciated.
Thanks

I make sure i have adjustment left on the straps. Put it on and tighten it up, if you have too much adjustment left it's probably a little bit small, if you have to tighten it right up it's probably a bit big.

I have a north waist harness and they work a treat, take a couple of sessions for it to form to your waist though, then it fits like a glove. I have a 36" waist and I use a medium

I reckon you'll need a small preferably..
Im about the same size as you, and i find the size and spreader bar on some of the medium harnesses a bit too big.
I like the pro limit pivec model...it doesnt have as much back support, but the top and bottom edges of the harness are really soft and comfortable..plus it looks rad too.
