Sea Slugs( Nudibranchs) we call them, some are alive when they wash up on the beach not good for dog to lick or eat
Generally oblong in shape, nudibranchs can be thick or flattened, long or short, ornately colored or drab to match their surroundings. They can grow as small as 0.25 inches (6 millimeters) or as large as 12 inches (31 centimeters) long.

They are carnivores that slowly ply their range grazing on algae, sponges, anemones, corals, barnacles, and even other nudibranchs

Hi Rad and Mal........wish you guys all the best for 2011.

Hope your dog gets better and the vet is not cruel.

Thanks again guys for the great session while I was visiting. Not even so sad about the board as I really am liking my back up board.

Looking forward to my next trip and just maybe we don't have honking easterlies for a change.

I really hope Willow pulls thru 100% for your welfare. She is going to seriously put that black belt to good use this time.
There a spare room down the back of my Taj mahal if you need to hide out.
Man you are screwed big time... this time.

Best to feed your dogs before heading to the beach and show them a slug, Tell them "NO, that's not dinner!" and flatten them if they go near it. I have found this method works. Hope I don't eat my words this year.
