I personally think the 06 is better in the surf than the 07, based on how it sits in the window. Going off the marketing, I would say the 08 is much the same as the 06 in that regard (although I haven't flown one). They are a great all-rounder and I think it would be hard to get past its (07) build quality, although I found the 06 a bit easier to fly in less-than-perfect conditions - the 07 strikes me as a little bit "finickier". It is still an easy kite to fly tho, I just start to notice its flaws as I progress. I reckon you could have a nap with an 06 and wake-up upwind :) Bear in mind I'm still crap tho so take it for what you think its worth.
