after just reading the stupid question thread i am not sure i wont end up there, but

anyone tried setting up in water, say youre sailing/boating, or you have no safe place to set up on shore?

now deep breath as i wait and welcome being told how daft this q is..

Any IKO instructors should be able to teach you how to launch from a boat. You can also consider using the Turbo Launcher (we are the importer for Oz/NZ, details at website). Any questions feel free to PM me. Videos at site too.

yep Iko way is crap and you need someone to launch the kite. Turbo launcher, well it can be as the name suggests. Easiest is a sle with a front line reride. Just roll your lines up connected to the kite with the reride line shorter and send the kite out nose down. Hopefully you havn't twisted the lines and remember the boat will swing on the anchor so it takes longer to get to the edge of the window then launch. Too easy but still scary.
