Ive been to exmouth in May. You generally get excellent morning North or North easterlies, dying as the day heats. The water should be about 26 degrees. the great thing about Exmouth is that there are possibilities in all wind directions with the curving coastline. You will be crying if you dont bring the kites.
Hey Prawnstar Shark Bay still has wind at that time of year, albeit a bit sketchy some days. May is pretty much at the end of the season but there will be days where it blows 20-25 kts ssw. The other poss is Monkey Mia on the se in the morning around the corner from me at the dolphin interaction, we usually kite it in winter first thing in the morning (fricken cold though!). If your dropping in you will more than likely get a few days of wind so pack your gear, throw in a couple of surfboards as well cos Gnaraloo and Exmouth will have smokin' waves.
yipee ,,starting road trip from perth on saturday,,will be in exemouth by monday for aweek or so and then will slowly make our way back down,,anyone kiting up that way? wheres the best flat water areas,,cheers
