So today i set up the 9 waroo(06) at the north side of Hillaries marina as i coudnt be F**ked missioning to pinaroo... it feels lit up, but as soon as i tried jumpin i was getting plus minus only 1.5m jumps which is frikin pathetic!?!?! specially with how much power i had under the kite!! the loops wer pooling like nothing.. lost almost 1m downwind!! WOOOW INTENCE.. NAWT?

i dont know whether it was the wind being weird or whether it was the kite finally reachin the end of its life time ( the LE was pretty flat after the hour session which might mean there's a leak?) and this might be why the kite was flying like a pig!

or maybe its just that im getting weary / scared of the old buggah after numerous times of trying to kill me!? i mean getting deathlooped down moore river towards a car park is one thing, then having a CL line snap when your dangling upside down 3m in the air is another thing... then there was another bridle snapping incident but I just flagged the kite and let it sort itself out! maybe im worried about it snapping when i kite by myself? or maybe the kiting by myself was the issue?

Just thaught I'd share a misirable kiting experience that was odd? 1m jumps in 25 knots on a 9 isnt normal

kited this arvo in australind on my 7m and it was great - but there were holes in the wind everywhere and some erratic gusts - but pretty much a decent session - I may have jumped more than 1.5m but there was no one to tell me

yeah ocean reef was like 25 knots on meter then hits 35 while swanbourne was still only 19 20 :S

i just lookd at ocean reef graphs over time i kited n it was a good 20 - 25 throughout the session and after 5 it picked up to 26 - 28 ( kited 4.30 to 5.30)

phew i was worried it was just me, owell best rip da bladder out n chck for leaks anyway, if only i didnt have homework

swanbourne wind meter is in a weird location so you cant trust it.
