Brigton would be closest, 15min drive from airport. It is also the kite beach of Brisbane, shallow, no rocks, no booties required. Just a reef to watch out for. Give us a call when you get here if you wanna meet up. You'll find there are loads of waroos at Brighton too
cool thanks, i'll probablly only hit townsville. I've got to get a heap of study out of the way in brisy so not sure how much time i'll actualy have free. Townsville on the other hand, it's just training so should be able to get some free time to check the scene out
