Next week the tide is perfect at Wello... It's shallow there for a few hundred metres or so, and because I am still in the standing on the board stage, I need the shallow water there also...

There's enough space to set everything up either on the so called "beach" there, or when the tide is coming in from low tide...
Just ask the other local kiters when u get there about which side of the sand bank to stay on depending on what the wind direction is... Mark told me that on a SW and S you can go on the 'left' or very deep Manly side, and on a N, NE, SE or other direction on teh 'right' or shallow and Straddy side of the sand bar...

If you're learning, stick to the right, 'Stradie' side of the sand... It's a lot safer, and I learnt that kind of the hard way lol....

Therefore, I would suggest Wellington Point just past Capalaba as your best options... I'm sure the others kiters will suggest some other great kiting spots such as Redcliffe, Brighton or even Victoria Point...
All the best and hope to see you round kiting... Have a blast in Brisbane mate...
