just arrived in perth, wondering where can you kite on the river. few years ago it use to be pelican point for windsurfing, are kites allowed there? or are the local pole smokers a bit heavy on it?

kites are allowed there. dont think you'll get any hassle from the polies. if u like gusty conditions and nasty brown water go for it. there are a couple of flat water spots on the sea.
woodmans point for one. i'll be there this arvo for sure.
mandurah south of perth has acres of flat on the inlet. bit of a drive though.
