The secret spot is Bongaree on the Southern most tip of Stradbroke Island.
Caloundra is also all time in a SW.
And as for SE, there has almost been too many amazing SE sessions this year.

Do ya mean southern tip of Bribie?
Saying that the pin might work in a S/W... Just don't get into trouble [}:)]

Praying for wind, Chris.

Golden Beach is crap in a SW. Offshore means turbulence for 50 - 75m out from the tree line. If you are tempted....please don't. We have had enough first year gumbies smacking pedestrians on the head for a while.

Caloundra bar can work on an incoming tide in a screaming SW but keep in mind that if you get into trouble and can't relaunch, the next stop is the ocean and the lifeguards' patience is wearing thin because of the chaos and injuries of the last few weeks.

Offshore winds in Caloundra are gusty and all care should be taken. Without a good safety plan and/or a backup rescue craft you should stay home, go to cable or try Bongaree.
