I found recently that i can jump higher on a C in ligher winds. ie i jumped much higher on a 13m fuel than i did on MY 13m waroo. but in stronger winds as stated above a bow is nicer because you can use a kite that is a couple of sizers bigger than the c you would be using, send kite to 12 and BOOM ur up
when i was riding the fuel i was riding in about 15 knots on a 128 Jaime back to back with my waroo. with newer c kites with their huge bar throw you can depower almost as much a a SLE/bow anyway so its not that much different anymore.
Safety:
C kites or SLE shaped 5 line kites are safest and more reliable as with bridles they can wear without the user noticing and suddenly snap during a session where as the 5 line doesnt have bridles and pullys so thers nothing chafing any of the lines, also a full depower system by flaggin out on 5th line. For beginners a SLE or 5 line hybrid would best suit simply because they are not as agressive and they are alot safer.
