OK a season off has added some extra ballist around the middle 98kgs(all up..not added..lol), looking at a couple of rebel 07 kites (after much delibertaion over what to get) both in excellent condition, only 200 buck difference on price. a 12 and a 14. In the great pool of wisdom that is seabreeze which way would u go? im mainly kiting in Victoria and have a 130 and a 138 (both cardboards...lol, well i get one of my own ones this season too...plug plug www.elmonsterloco.com)

Im thinking due to my size a 14 should get me out in more conditions and i should be able to hold it upto say 25-30knots due to its depower and well my ability to edge bloody hard...
cheers

Get a 14m. a mate of mine ( approx same weight ) had a 12 at the start of last season and was frustrated most of the time when the rest were firing on 12's he was struggling ( in approx 16 -18knts above 18knots he was fine ) he purchased a 14 and is still smiling. Has been out in as little as 14-15 and up to approx 26-28knts reasonably comfortably.
Vic season tends to average between 15 - 23 most seabreezes so the 14 is the go.

You could also add 2-3 cm in board width, makes a lot of differance There should be a calculation of belly size to board width
