I feel sorry for kitesurfers, always emulating. When you watch videos I think that was pretty good, almost looked as good as surfing. Surfers pull more ariels, barrels and turns. Kiters, one turn to closeout slop is film material. Kitesurfers have got a long way to go....
Only because people keep filming good kite"surfers" in onshore slop conditions because they surf in cross offshore. The operative here being surfers and not kiters – regretably I am the later or is that former, I always get the too mixed up!
If not comfortable or not confident in kiting cross offshore on a surfboard then woodies offshore section would be ideal to learn some basic down the line turns in the flat water....
