You'll probably get most use of a 10-12m kite. That's for summertime.

Don't know about winter.

Wind in sydney has been blowing at 12-20 knots lately.

Be safe!

In winter there is often either strong wind, or no wind at all.
8/12m is a commonly used combo here.
