Soooooooo Shallow ....Lots of rocks ...Blue green algie ...seaweed everywhere...Stingrays and sharks constantly sighted ... I reckon give it a big miss ....
Check Lauries Tide Predictions, if tide shows high for the time of day you want to ride, then there shouold be at least 18 inches of water in the shallows, if tide says low, expect 6 inches or less ....
2. If someone is comming into the beach to do a trick, get out of the way.
3. Don't take ages turning around at the beach.
4. If your riding back and forth not doing anything don't do little frikken 50m tacks in the zone where everyone is doing tricks, (better yet go onshore side or melville).
Hey Space, when you back from Adelaide? I got a short movie that I made that i need to get to you. Its got some of your styley slims and some other gear,
Today was madness i counted 18 kites up. Think there could have even been more.
Carbines rules are pretty much spot on.
Stay as little time in the zone as you need Dont stand on the shoreline kite at twelve put kite down or move away. Kites on the way in have right of way

Twas indeed a great day tho - u gotta love it when ur drivin home totally stuffed & its still blowin a steady 20kts everywhere with still an hr and a 1/2 sunlight - if you could cope.
Where do you report the fkers that reckon northside is OK to teach brand newby body draggers Right thru the zone - direct offshore - 1km upwind of shark alley Its almost sad that all that happened was an uneventful but inevitable swim in. Lucky. (this time) You gotta seriously question the existence of a brain dont you
hey Andyy Im not bitching & ur right - I am having far too much fun to bother starting. Just trying to spread the word on safe kiting. A tad harshly put I guess but the guy in question was "spoken to" by at least 2 kiters warning him of his stupidity but he chose to ignore them. Reckon he had it coming really. Hoping that the straight talking (posting) may convince others that 'offshore' is NOT training ground for newbys.
