hey im fairly new to the sport of kiteing but am so hooked already,cant get enough,i have really only been boarding down at melville waters mostly cause its not that deep if i do get my self into trouble,is there any other places round perth that are good for this reason haha,woodmans point???

Woodmans point is especially good for people who are learning. If you get washed off shore there, all the elite and most ifluential kiters will be more than happy to help you out.

i think what hoop meant to say is, woodies isn't really the greatest place for learners to kite. the winds are offshore and it can be quite dangerous.
just stick to the river until your capable of kiting upwind easily, body dragging upwind to your board, and have good control over your kite and have become very familiar with your safety.

Uhmm... you are aware there is more than one beach at woodmans point.. the 2 other beaches are perfectly "safe" for beginners
