Hi Victor

Most guys living in Brisbane kite at either Brighton (between 19th & 18 Ave) or Wellington Point. If there is wind there should be someone at these spots. I haven't kited at Woody Point, but have been told that some of the Brighton Guys kite there in a SW when it is cross off shore at Brighton.

Hey Vitor,
That was probably me and a few otheres out at woody point the other day... We all call it Pelcan because Pelican Park is right next to it.
We only ever kite there in a Southerly or SW'er, anything with North in it Head round to 'Scarbie' which is a small beach next to Scarborough Yacht Harbour, Go to the caravan park and its behind there somewhere... you will have to ask one of the guys that can drive the exact directions...
SE And E head to Brighton...

Pelican is pretty good.... although the small reef on the Northern end of the beach is a bit nasty... its not 2 big tho and at high tide you can easily kite over it... Between Pelican and the Woody Pt Jetty you can stand all the way... although this does make it a bit choppy in more than 15 knots... Next time you see us down there come and ask and we will show ya round the beach...

Cya soon,
Rhys

How experienced are you Vitor?

Woody point is definately only intermediate level plus!

Just head up to Brighton and meet all the locals
and they will steer you in the right direction/s,
or send me a pm and I will give you any info you are after as well as my contact number.

regards
Kurt

Vitor , Words of advice from an old man-

NEVER put your gear under bed.

If ur girlfling finds it you will have to explain how much u paid and why u need sooo much stuff.[}:)] Keep it in the car.

Allways put ur wet gear on the passengers seat so you NEVER have to take her in your car.

If you get a lunchtime sesh in Never tell her, that way on the weekend you get to go n play cause she feels sorry for ya.

Never come home after a big day on the water and gloat how good it was!. Play it down, tell em you nearly got KILLED, and had a **** session,(i usually slam a lot of doors and stuff) with any luck they will be glad to let you go out the next day so you can get in a better mood.

If i have forgotton anything please use ur own imagination.
Hope this has helped you

Keep da chicks in the dark, its better for them. And if you need a girlie see Kurt as well caus he's a chick magnet

I saw ya's out the other day at Pelican. Did the resident jetskiiers and sailboarders get in the way? It's usually Jetski hoonville there!

Did anyone go out to Jamieson Park Scarborough yesterday for the N/NNE winds? The skydive crew looked a bit anxious out there.

Ya a few of us hit Scarbie Yesterday... Me, Kurt, Michael, Travis, Henry and then another few guys were all out there throughout the day... Was hell gusty tho... still... a Ntherly is a Ntherly lol

At Pelican... ive neva had a problem with the Jetskis... the arent to bad if ya dont kite thru their little courses... and the windsurfers are the typical windsurfers around here... always 2 nervous and panic when a kite comes within 100m of them!!

I spose this hasnt been a bad week ey!

Yeah, we need to hookup with someone who owns a crop duster and
I'll organise the jelly dissolving chemicals.
Still, they're better than the Bluebottles that hit the coasts in the northerlies.
