Any one with broadband, check this out! Takes a bit but well worth it. Checked one air/hangtime at 28 seconds.

Hey Wind Dummy,
I forgot you have a background in that style of kiting.

Have you tried rigging gliders as kites?

I`m sure your creative talents could come up with something. Who knows maybe the next big thing, you want some "real" hang time try Para-kiting.

Wow, was that for real, pretty incredible...

Unlikely a line would break in those circumstances as they normaly break when there is a sudden spike of tension in the line, the tension would be very consistent there... you wouldnt want to be flying the kite too close to the edge of the window tho! Those boys have some nads...

Jones- It`s a couple of guys jumping of a snow covered mountain and using the kite like a paraglider.

Incredible and scary at the same time!

I have had another look at the clip to actually work out how they do it. You need a good wind blowing directly up the face,to create lift, and because you cant jump upwind they tack to the edge and then park the kite at 12 and use the slope to start moving directly upwind(downhill) and use the kite like a paraglider with f******g long lines. It still looks like they land pretty hard though.
If I was a bit younger and didnt have so many broken bones I be keen to give it ago.

I can just see the wind dummy salivating on the eastern cliff face of Lennox.

I think I can. I think I can. I think I can.

Hardish landings yep - one of the jumps the guy kite loops just before landing, wonder if this was just because he feared he'd drop like a stone if he didn't, or if he was just being a smartarse..

That was amazing!
Now I'll just wait for the fone call from the boss re: exceeding allowable download limits. Surely it is somehow work-related...

Hey Glaucus,
You weren't there the last time I was salivating on Lennox Point with bones sticking out of me leg and me foot hanging off a bit of guts waiting for the ambo to arrive. At least you got to go for a fly with us yeah.
