Thanks to the two ace kiters, one of whom gave me a lift to shore and the other who rescued my rampant kite after a good wipeout and loss of the safety leash today (15th October). What a great session until then!
Should anyone have retrieved my old red 135 Switch (airrush), could you let me know and I will arrange transport/exchange to suit you.

You should have waited after I rescued your kite.
Found your board floating along about 5 mins later when you were packing up your kite.
