Hey everyone,

Lost my F-one bandit 6, 9m this eve at Dutchies

Lines broke after tangling with another kite, last seen at Cottesloe heading North

Would greatly appreciate it if anyone finds it, can let me know! Carton of course ;)

Cheers,

Sorry Nathan that sucks, wish I had info.. Did u call the water police or sea rescue to let them know the kite is loose? They might have found it or are still looking for the body attached?

yeah spoke to water police, they already knew about it when i called, they said they would try and retrieve too, but not heard anything yet.
Might not turn up for a while, need some onshore wind!

Are your contact details on the kite? How far out were you?

Option 1 is one of the surf clubs will pick it up. Most likely. Cott, Nth Cott or Swanny. Maybe give those clubs a call.

Option 2 if it didn't come back to shore is maybe a fishing boat or something.

No details on the kite unfortunately, never thought to do it! Only got details on board.

Only 50m or so out, but was Southerly, maybe a little off shore so got further and further away from beach.

That a good idea, i'll give it a go. Put a report into police to for lost property too.

Hopefully something will come up.

Cheers mate

The water police picked up a kite last night. They came back to Leighton looking for the owner.

Yeah I was wandering why the owner ditched the gear rather than lie on his kite and sail it home, but then I realised once I got a few hundred meters from shore the wind was bending into the south east.

Hope the guys ok.
