Mess?

Where did you leave it? On the beach or along the mesh fence as you walk out from the car park ?

Did I read that right? You helped from point Moore to st George's....ie bluff point? That's a huge effort. Presume she was unable to make it back to Point Moore, being to far north and was heading for Bali.

Would be interested in the story Tom! It happened a couple of times in my Hells Gates wave sailing days, but I think we managed a rescue back to Point Moore every time. I don't recall anyone having to make the mega trip into bluff point, sunset etc.

Bummer you lost your bag after that major effort

Well done
Dave

Hey dave you missed the action yesterday, a poor bloke had to release his ozone kite at hells an paddled back into shore.

Apparently the kite got caught in one of the numerous cray pot lines. Luckily the kite was able to just sit there while he rang around for someone with a boat.

Yeah John must have been after I went home. Sounds like the duded did the right thing ditching his kite and paddling in.

I'm still interested in what tgcp did escorting a kiter to st George's. that's huge and probably a life saving effort.
