Hi, I saw the police and they weren't looking for your kite. They were looking for your dead body.
Your kite was going into the shooting range, so I got help to hold it down & released the air, untangled it, googled how to care for for it, learned how to fold it, & waited until after sundown, no one showed up. I left it in a certain area.
Good to hear that you are alive considering the trouble you caused.
Did you find it today?
What YEAR NAISH model?
Hey mate. Thanks for your help - the kite was handed into Swanbourne SLSC and I got it back yesterday.
The water police and marine rescue were contacted by me long before the kite washed up. It was the first thing I did when I got back to shore so I don't think they were searching for a body! They phoned me around 30 minutes after I initially contacted them to say the kite had been washed up on Swanbourne and that's when I headed straight down to look for it.
Strange that I didn't see you on the beach. I walked from the Shorehouse down to the shooting range from around 17:15 and didn't see any kite. I stopped and asked a few different groups if they had seen anything but none of them had.
Have a nice day!
