Dont really expect too get anything back but just wanted to warn others. I had been hanging around at Mullaloo for a couple of hours waiting for the wind to pick up and when it did I headed out, within five minutes I saw two little #%@#heads come over the sand dunes grab my kite bag (Blue airush 10mt Flow SLE, had a backpack inside with a few of the usual beach items)and run back over the dunes. I got a pretty good look at them but by the time I had got in and landed my kite they were nowhere to be seen. I had left my gear on the dune where I could see it easy from out on the water but I think it would have been much better down closer to the water where there would be more chance of other honest beachgoers seeing the little &%$#s in action......Ah aint karma a wonderful thing though, they will get what they deserve or if i see them again they might even get a little bit more!

The lockers sound like a good idea but i dont think theres enough people at Mullaloo for it to be a viable business.
I work for the railways and they provide bike lockers that you can put your own padlock on at the train station some kind of permanent strong lockers along that line would be good idea, they still get broken into occasionally but they would have to be a bit of a deterent, you would stand out a bit wandering down the beach with a pair of bolt cutters. I dont think the local council would be interested though unless there was something in it for them.
I used to walk down to the beach at the end of my road but theres not normally many people there once the breeze kicks in, so after Mondays experience I decided today to walk a couple of hundred metres up the beach to where there is a few more crew around - safety in numbers I hope.I wanted to try out my new board but there wasnt much wind and i didnt like the idea of leaving it on the beach whilst out on my big board waiting for the wind to pick up
As for the cameras I dont know if they do keep recordings but there's none at Mullaloo anyway.
I'm might have to buy a Rotti, train him up and chain him to my gear.
