I thought I'd ask here because I know its a popular kiting spot, but does anyone know what the local council is doing here?

In the local paper they mentioned that the council are building a new carpark opposite the catamaran club "which was consulted extensively". Are they going to make it the same as the other part, i.e. more tar and no better than it was before? The first carpark used to be good but now its hopeless unless you are a boatie.

Do the council even know people use this place for kiting?
