Anyone know the best places to kite in Byron and Ballina??? i dont want break any rules i hear that main beach is off limits. im heading up there this weekend so i hope to get some kiting. Thanks pjd
Have a look at the "Kite Locations" Page on www.nswkba.com.au it has some of the spots in the area. I'll update it about the main beach if someone can PM me the details of the restrictions.
Personally I reckon that on a SE to NE you can't go past Lennox Head main beach. It is a big beach with nice flat sections between the waves and lots of room and friendly locals.
