Hi,
Does anybody have experience with KITE SURF LESSONS? They offer kite surfing lessons in Gumtree.

Just would like to know if they are reliable and good for learning basic skills?

Hmm, thanks for the link. I already tried to write a few kite surfing schools asking for lessons in the near future. Some of them replyed but they do not offer lessons during winter. However, I would like to start now rather than waiting another couple of months. Does anyone know where I can get lessons around Sydney?

There is no point trying to learn in winter, the wind is just not consistent enough.
Wait until sept/oct or go somewhere like north QLD for a couple of weeks.

I agree with bennie. Go to KP or another store and buy yourself a training kite and work on your kite flying skills over winter and then look at lessons in the spring. If you start taking lessons in October you are going to be ready for the best of the season come December - Feb. Don't throw effort after foolishness. It will be waste of your money to get lessons in winter.

If you are really keen (and I am), try kiteandsup.com.au or www.boardcrazy.com (they are both at Newcastle and use Lake Macquarie all winter and both have excellent instructors)
