Fishermans beach

Hi. Just wondering why Fishermans beach isn't listed as being suitable for beginners on the location listing - was thinking the flat water might be really helpful ...

@ Collaroy? it is tempting i know but probably because there are quite afew overhead hazards which could be hard to launch and land plus the power boat traffic using the boat ramp could have something do do with it as well.
i have seen some learners there though.
i have heard there is quite a bit of sea weed in the water there and i reckon if that stuff get around the control lines it could make the kite pretty unstable for a water re-lauch.

a tiny launch area, trees, and a small path between rocks to get out to the flat water. A cant think of a worse place for a learner.....
body dragging is not even an option here.

Agree with BigMark, reef is particularly hungry on low tides (eaten a couple of my fins and knees). Trees near both launch areas have claimed a few (even experts!)
